Marilyn's make-up kit Washing her face Working out
Marilyn used to wash her face up to 15 times a day.
She used to apply vaseline or olive oil on her face when at home, because she believed that this way her face would remain fresh and young.
As soon as she returned home, she would wipe out completely all make up from her face.
Marilyn didn't want to become a blonde. She decided to have her hair bleached only after both her model
agent and a photographer insisted she should change her hair colour.
Marilyn always wore false eye lashes and eye-liner on her upper eyelid. She used to wear white eye-shadow in order to add 'light' to her look. She would combine it with brown or dusty blue eye-shadows.

She always slept with her bra on, in order to preserve the muscle tone.
Marilyn didn't like to show her hands on the screen, because she thought they were fat.
She put on a combination of many different lipstick colours in order to make her lips
look full.
She underwent two minor corrective plastic surgeries (nose and chin). She also had her upper front teeth fixed.
After Marilyn died, her hairdresser was called to fix Marilyn's hair for the funeral,
but he collapsed in the mortuary. They had to use a wig instead.
Snyder (Marilyn's make-up man) used to say that Marilyn had many make-up secrets,
which not even a professional make up artist knows.
Marilyn used to brush her teeth with baking soda every day in order to whiten them.
"For breakfast I have two raw eggs beaten in a glass of hot milk. I never eat dessert. My nail polish is transparent. I never wear stockings or underclothes because I think it is important to breathe freely. I wash my hair every day and I'm always brushing it. Every morning I walk across my apartment rolling an empty soda bottle between my ankles, in order to preserve my balance."
